WTF AFRICA- MATE STONE DI PEOPLE DEM HUSBAND

ohuh

A Harare man’s endeavors to conceal from his wife a child born out of wedlock exploded as the child’s mom constantly assaulted him with stones every time they met.

The disappointed lady in the end drew nearer the father of her child Thomas Befuwa’s parents and them their two-year-old grandchild.

Befuwa showed up at the common courts last Friday looking for an insurance request against his previous sweetheart Rutendo Diruwa, who he said was making his life a horrific experience by determinedly assaulting and offending him.

Befuwa told justice Barbara Mateko that he was living in trepidation of Diruwa who had added to a propensity of assaulting him with stones every time they met as an approach to constrain him to care for their child.

As indicated by Befuwa, at some point in 2013, he was involved in an extra-marital affair with Diruwa which brought about the conception of a child.

From that point forward, the court heard, Befuwa kept the child a mystery from his family up to this point when Diruwa went to Befuwa’s parents’ home without his knowledge and showed them the child.

Diruwa’s actions did not go down well with Befuwa who then confronted her, resulting in the two hurling insults at each other.

In his submissions, Befuwa told the court that he needed a protection order because he did not want to fight Diruwa.

“I don’t want to fight her back because if I do, I may even kill her, so the order will protect me,” Befuwa said.

In response to the application, Diruwa argued Befuwa had approached the court as a means to counter her application for the child’s maintenance.

Diruwa went on to oppose the protection order application, saying she needed to be in contact with Befuwa without barriers for the sake of the child.

However, Mateko told Diruwa that the protection order, if granted, would not bar any communication between the two but would simply order them to do it peacefully.

The magistrate proceeded to rule in Befuwa’s favour and granted the protection order.

She said Diruwa knew Befuwa was married and must communicate with him without any physical or verbal abuse.
