I’m going to try to make the story as short as possible.. I have a friend, I’ve known her since we were in basic school.. She’s now 21 and has two children (twin boys). She got pregnant when she was 16 so she didn’t finish high school.. Now the father of the children I believe he’s 59 or 60…her mom has 7 of them but she hardly takes care of them.. She constantly left the older ones to look after the younger ones until she did it one day and the house burned down because she left her 13 y/o to look after her disabled sister and 3 other siblings ages 8,2 and a baby…now she moved with them and is still doing it.. The reason why I spoke about that is because I feel like my friend’s mom is partly responsible for my friend’s habits right now. As I said before my friend got pregnant at 16 for a man that could be her grandfather. Apparently she was getting money from him and she gave him herself in return.. After she found out she was pregnant she moved in with him
him and then all hell broke loose. The man is hardworking I have to give him that. He provides for her and the boys with the little that he’s getting.. She stays home and takes care of them. Now she always says she wants a job and I try to help her as best as I can by getting her jobs but she keeps in leaving after a week or a couple days… She has no qualifications or experience or skills.. So I’m baffled as to why she refuses to stay and work to get a little experience even if the pay isn’t what she wants… This is what tipped me off.. She is sleeping with multiple men (like over 6 ) for money and the worst part is she came off birth control because according to her she wants to give it a break. She keeps on getting infections and stuff but refuses to stop and recently she had a pregnancy scare… She even said that her babydaddy is beating her now… She tells him she’s going to her mother’s or grandmother but she actually with men as far as St. Mary (we live in Kingston) ..
she even wanted to leave her children to go live with a man she hardly even knew… I honestly don’t know what to say to her anymore. What if she gets HIV? What if she gets pregnant again? What if one of these men physically hurts her? What if her baby daddy decides to throw her own or kills her? Any advice on what to do to help her?

Sender your friend is trying to fill voids that are much bigger than you, you have all right to be concerned but if she can’t see the danger there’s not much you can do.
