A STORY THAT DELIVERS

THE STORY THAT DELIVERS

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12

We confess eternal life by telling others what we know about God and in so doing we hold tightly to it fighting the good fight for the true faith. Remember faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. God is His word; His word is an exposition of His divine nature, power, glory and splendor.

These days, Christians are carried away by manifestations of the power of God and fail to seek knowledge of God whose mighty hand works the miracles they long for; these manifestations are not the primary reason why we seek God. In fact they are results or the consequences of our knowledge of Him. It is our knowledge of Him that sparks our faith and keeps it burning hot in the face of trials and tribulations. This knowledge of Him is our testimony that overcomes the world. Jesus said it is from the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks; it is how much you know about God that you can testify. God promises that they that seek Him will find Him. He is eager to reveal Himself to you. Make a commitment today to seek Him with all your heart. Do not be satisfied with general knowledge of Him. Do not be satisfied with just what others have told you about Him. Know God for yourself; don’t just report what the preacher said, have your own story to tell others about Him. Your story is the divine assurance of the new and eternal life you now have in Christ. Your deliverance from yokes, bondages, curses and evil covenants will be facilitated by your knowledge of God.

Liberation thought: They that know their God shall be strong and do exploits.
