Portmore Mayor George Lee is dead

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Mayor of Portmore, St Catherine, George Lee is dead, the Jamaica Observer has learned.
Sources close to the mayor say that Lee died at a private residence in Florida about 6:30 am Sunday.

Unconfirmed reports are that Lee was diagnosed with stage four bone cancer and was in the US undergoing treatment.
