Two men ‘clad in female attire’ charged for New Kingston robbery

Two men, who were among a group of persons disguised as women, and robbed a man in the New Kingston area earlier this month, have been charged by the police.

Charged with robbery with aggravation are 30-year-old Chad Walters of Washington Drive, Kingston 10, and 22-year-old Danny Anderson of Wellington Street, Kingston 14.

According to reports, on Thursday, March 5, Walters, Anderson and five other men who disguised themselves as women, held up and robbed the victim along St Lucia Avenue at knife point.

The cross-dressers allegedly stole his cellphone and debit card.

The accused men then used the debit card to steal cash from the victim’s account, the police reported.

The matter was reported to the authorities, and following a probe, Walters and Anderson were arrested.

The men are to appear in court at a later date.
