More persons have been detained under the State of Public Emergency in the St. Catherine North police division.
RJR News has been informed that the number of detainees since the measure was declared on March 18 has increased to more than 800.
Thirty-one of the detainees remain in custody.
They are expected to be charged.
On Tuesday, the House of Representatives approved the extension of the State of Public Emergency to July 3.
