  1. Can’t afford garlic or anything else for that matter? Leave it alone.
    Everything ain’t for everyone.
Who buys garlic at a supermarket anyway?

  2. But see here !!!! Why Jamaica so follow fashan. I don’t have a problem with growth or becoming Americanized as long as it is for the betterment of the country but is like as Farin do something dem tek it up. Kmt. Mi never grow come see dem tings. It tek bout 5 seconds to shell off a peg a garlic. Reallyyyyy???? Mi nay a buy it cause even up here, one a those little packages is $1 or $1.50. Kmt. What is the price for? The garlic plus the labor to shell it. Dwlll

    1. Ah whole clove ah garlic up ya costs bout $.29 cents, on sale @ 3 cloves fe $.79 cents in ah bunch…it is always cheaper tuh shop at Farmers Market, fresher produces as well..

  3. Met that right there is highway robbery i pay 100 for a bag of garlic in the market and from counting those that look like barely 2 head of garlic and the bag has in about 5-6 heads no man Jamaican food prices a go high buy Megamart is taking the piss has the brits would say.

  4. Dats why a country to mi ting. God knows why him tell him ppl fi leave di cities. You hab a good piece a land a country you can plant you likkle garden. Anybody a JA wah hab piece a land an a bawl bout food is damn lazy dem lazy cause it nuh cost nutten fi plant couple okro, tomato, pap chow, callaloo, cabbage, plantain banana, and couple chicken fi eggs. U ongle excuse should be fi wata if a dry time. If you hab you veggies you out of pocket food cost would be fi fish and meat, bread and a few dry goods.
Ppl act like digging in di earth and planting a seed going to kill dem. Ppl ova yah teck suh much pride and joy in dem backyard garden. Even a friend of mine mother used to keep har barn with chickens, rabbits, and store dem potatoes during di winter. Dem freeze dem summer veggies fi carry dem chu di winter and is ppl wah had money, but still stick to di old ways and believe in eating healthy homegrown food. Mi nah bawl fi ppl wah refuse fi dig di land, sorry.
