Following Foota Hype’s recent rant on a UK radio station, during which he alleged that his ex-girlfriend and babymother, Ishawna, had sexual relations with his former co-worker, Downsound Records producer Skatta Burrell, and his boss Josef Bagdonovich, Ishawna has finally responded.
Ishwana aimed to save face during an interview with Ragashanti, yesterday, during his popular ‘Ragashanti Live’ show on www.tambourineradio.com. However, faced with some tough questions from the self-proclaimed mix-up King and former university lecturer, Ishawna was forced to admit having sexual intercourse with Skatta Burrell.
The singer, who taunted Foota Hype with songs such as Restraining Order in recent weeks, tried to dodge Ragashanti’s questions about her sexual affair with Skatta Burrell during the lengthy interview, however, after being trapped in a corner several times, she was forced to admit.
“Nothing weh Ishawna do supposed to be a concern to Foota … leave me alone …,” she said to Raga’s first attempt. However, Raga asked the question a second time. “So you and Skatta sleep together?” After a long pause, the singer said, “We yu say Raga?” as if she did not hear. A determined Ragashanti pressed the issue for a third time, only then, a defeated Ishawna confirmed.
“Yes we have; you know what, I am keeping it real. Mi a big woman but me and Skatta are friends and Foota and Skatta are not friends. Everybody worked together but him and Foota were not close … Sometime we cannot control what happens in life,” she said.
As for the owner of Downsound Records, Josef Bagdonovich, Ishawna claims that he did not get a piece of the action, as alleged by Foota Hype.
The singer also claims that she was threatened by Foota Hype during their nine-year relationship.
“Mi nuh know which woman would be in a good relationship and leave because of oral sex. I have never put a threesome argument to Foota Hype before,” Ishawna said.
Efforts to get a comment from Skatta Burrell were unsuccessful, however, a visit to his Facebook page revealed that the producer was contemplating an escape from the current controversy.
“Jah know mi a go run weh,” he posted, along with a picture of his passport.
He also posted a lengthy tribute to his boss. “For anyone who have ever lent a helping hand or receive any form of gratitude in life I hope you understand when I say to you that Jesus came and did nothing but good on this Earth yet he was chastised and nailed to a cross. I take the good with the bad especially in this entertainment industry. So when folks say stuff about my character it took me a while but I’ve learnt to ignore and remain focused. Working with DSR for the past three years has been a real pleasure for me and I have witnessed the only man I’ve ever called a boss Mr Bogdanovich go above and beyond for so many you won’t be able to imagine. I pray that if by any means our biz partnership goes sour and I’m left to move on, I ask that Jah allow my heart to remain pure, so I won’t turn into a vindictive stab in the back b, and try to tear down anyone with lies to protect my selfish ego. Biggup Joe always.”
