JAMAICA GET DI BRONZE

Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson, running out of Lane five, earned a bronze medal in the Women’s 400m Olympic final on Monday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

She ran through the line to claim third place in a time of 49.85s.

Shaunae Miller of the Bahamas, who had the world-leading time this year, copped the gold medal with a lunge at the line and a personal best of 49.44s.

American Allyson Felix, running beside Jackson in Lane four, finished a close second in 49.51s, despite it seeming as if she would have pipped Miller at the line.
