Jamaican International female boxer, Alicia Ashley recaptured the vacant WBC Super bantamweight title and gained another entry into the Guinness world book of records.

This after defeating the previously unbeaten Christina McMahon of Ireland by unanimous decision, in Brooklyn New York.

Ashley who had lost the title in 2013, is now the oldest female to win a world boxing title, setting an even higher bar with her longevity and durability.
