EBOLA KILLS MAN IN GERMANY AS MORTALITY RATE INCREASES

Ebola has claimed the life of a German man who was working for the United Nations in Liberia. The man was taken to St. George Clinic in Leipzig Germany last Thursday from Liberia and was reported to have died last night. The clinic had reported before that the gentleman was in stable condition and was being attended by a single nurse and doctor.
The World Health Organization has reported that the mortality rate of the virus has risen to 70% from it’s previous mortality rate of 50%. Health exerts from the agency predict 10,000 new cases in a week from Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea by Dec. 1 of this year. The agency has determined that Ebola is out of control in West Africa.Nigeria and Senegal so far have been the only countries to have contained the disease .
Scientists who are working on the disease have said that they are about six months away from making an effective vaccine.
