BRONXX MURDER IN MARCH OF THIS YEAR

A man who would have turned 43 on Wednesday was found dead Tuesday in the backseat of a burning BMW in the Bronx, officials said.
Sources identified the man as Wayne Thomas of the Bronx.
Police said the man was found lying face up in the backseat of the car about 6:15 a.m. after firefighters put out a blaze that consumed the sedan and parts of a detached garage on Cruger Ave. near Boston Road in Allerton.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Thomas died in the fire or was killed before the fire was set. Fire marshals were investigating.
