PURSUE, OVERTAKE AND RECOVER ALL
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations. Psalm 100:4 – 5
Take out quality time today to thank God for all those times that He kept you going even though all you wanted to do was give up. Thank God that even though the curse in your family is on a mission to make life miserable and unbearable for every one born through that blood line, His Joy has been your strength; you can still hope and trust Him for better days ahead. Lift up your hands in praise to God who is awesome and mighty in battle because He has defeated the spirit of death that has been killing people in their prime in your family. Now is the moment to give thanks and praise to God who frustrates the devices of the crafty so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise against you; they passed an evil law that decrees that nobody in your family will get married but today you are a happily married and a joyful parent of children.
David was familiar with the struggles of life that kills joy and takes away the hope you have for a better tomorrow. A typical moment in time was while he was in exile in the land of the Philistines. He had lived peacefully with them for years and then conflict broke out between Israel and Philistine; that was an awkward situation and to prove his loyalty to his hosts, he mobilized his men to fight with the Philistines against Israel. His good will was rejected and he was asked to go back home with his men. When he got home to Ziklag, he found out that the Amalekites had raided their community and taken away their wives and children that even worsened his plight and he wept sorely but the bible says David found strength in the LORD his God. With the guidance of God, he pursed, overtook and recovered all that was taken away from the Amalekites. Today, you can find the strength you need to pursue, overtake and recover all that the strong man in your family has stolen from you as you thank God with a joyful heart for all He has done for you. You can also thank God in advance for all He will do to ensure that you fulfill the divine destiny He has given you. Thank God in advance for the battles He will fight and win for you.
