WTF AFRICA- WIFE SEH HAR PROMISCUITY START WHEN HAR HUSBAND INTRODUCE HER TO SOCIAL MEDIA

A welder, Mr Busayo Adepoju, has asked an Ado-Ekiti Customary Court in Ekiti State to dissolve his three-year-old marriage to his wife, Toyin.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the petitioner is seeking the dissolution of their marriage on the grounds of adultery, laziness and lack of care for him and their child.

Adepoju stated that he did not contract any marital rites with the respondent but that she had a male child named Ayomide for him.

The petitioner said that the respondent was an adulterous woman and often received phone calls from other men.

He told the court that at times, the estranged wife would not sleep at home for three days.

Adepoju said he queried the respondent but she fought him and packed her belongings and left his house.

He added that whenever they had a misunderstanding the respondent often destroyed his phones, television set, private documents and receipts, among other valuables.

Busayo further stated that the respondent neither cleaned his house nor prepared good meals for him.

He prayed the court to dissolve their marriage and award him custody of their child for proper care.

Adepoju assured the court that he would be responsible for the education of the child at all levels.

Toyin denied all the allegations leveled against her by the petitioner.

The respondent said it was the petitioner that often encouraged her to indulge in adultery by using social networks such as Facebook and WhatsApp.

She said she never destroyed the property of the petitioner and was not lazy because she always cleaned the house and washed his clothes.

Toyin, however agreed with the petitioner that the court should dissolve their marriage but appealed that the court should award the custody of the child to her.

She prayed the court to compel the petitioner to be paying her N5, 000 monthly feeding allowance for their child.

The court president, Mrs Olayinka Akomolede, adjourned the case till March 15, for judgment.
