WTF AFRICA- 20 YO MAN ARRESTED FOR RAPING 16M OLD

THE Police in Bauchi State, on Monday, disclosed that they arrested a 20-year-old man in Ningi, the headquarters of Ningi Local Government Area of the state for having unlawful carnal knowledge of a 16-month-old baby.
The arrest, according to a statement made available to journalists by the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Haruna Mohammed, was made on Sunday.
According to him, the suspected rapist, one, Anna’s Adamu was nabbed by police detectives from the Ningi Area Command at about 6.00 a.m.

“On Sunday, October 19, at about 6.00 a.m., police detectives attached to Ningi Area Command arrested one, Annas Adamu, male and 20-year-old of Stadium road, Ningi Local Government Area.
“The suspect had unlawful carnal knowledge of his neighbour’s daughter, a 16-month-old baby, inside his matrimonial bedroom,” the PPRO said in the statement.
He added that the scene of the crime was visited by the detectives, who rushed the victim to the General Hospital, Ningi, for medical examination, where penetration was confirmed.
He, however, said that the police were investigating the matter.
In another development, the PPRO informed that about 10 suspected ritualists, wielding offensive weapons, last Saturday stormed the house of one Yakubu Ubandoma, located on his farm about 10 kilometres away from Rimin Zayan village in Toro Local Government Area and stabbed him on the neck.
The suspected ritualists, according to the police spokesman, also amputated Ubandoma’s arms and plucked out the eyes of his 20-year-old son, Ishaya Yakubu, who later died while on admission.
“One Yakubu Alhamdu, male, 14-year-old also sustained a machete cut on his head,” DSP Mohammed added.
He stated that the scene of the crime was visited by police detectives from Toro division and rushed the victims to the Toro General Hospital for medical attention, while the remains of the deceased were deposited at the mortuary for post-mortem examination.
The PPRO, however, assured that the police were intensifying efforts to apprehend the fleeing suspects.
