A Clarendon man was killed last night after he was chased and shot repeatedly by hoodlums in the community known as Canaan Heights.
It’s reported that two other men, including the brother of Carla Watt, Councillor for the Canaan Heights division of the Clarendon Municipal Corporation, were shot and injured in the incident.
The dead man has been identified as Richard Hall, also known as Kat and Sky.
For more than two years, there were no reported killings in Canaan Heights.
However, that changed earlier this month when the bodies of a man and a woman were found with gunshot wounds inside their home.
It’s reported that Hall and the two men were on their way home shortly before midnight when they were surprised by three gunmen.
According to reports, the gunmen opened fire, hitting the two men.
Hall reportedly tried to escape and was chased by his attackers and shot several times in the head and upper body.
He was pronounced dead at the May Pen Hospital where the two other men have been admitted in serious but stable condition.
