MOBAY BUSINESS MAN KILLED OUTSIDE HIS BUSINESS

Members of the Montego Bay Criminal Investigative Branch are working assiduously to find clues in solving the murder of a popular Montego Bay businessman who was shot dead outside his business establishment yesterday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Winston Chue of a Montego Bay address.

Reports are that minutes past 2:00 pm, shortly after Chue alighted from his motorcar outside his business establishment along Marian Way in Montego Bay, St James, he was pounced upon and shot five times by unknown gunmen.

Chue was rushed to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators said the businessman’s licensed firearm was missing and they believe that the gun was stolen by the killers.

Family members of the slain businessman were too overwhelmed with grief to comment.

However, people who massed at the murder scene condemned the killing, which pushed the murder tally in the parish to 157 since the start of the year, in comparison to the 140 recorded for the similar period last year.

  1. Condolences; but make them showr the same pity and outrage and search for the killers like when Black and dark skinned ghetto youth is brutally murdered or a Black child from the ghetto is raped by d village don ( male or female child) and when children of poverty are murdered .
Police will hungry for his killers, because he uptown and colorless.
Race status and color really mash up Jamaica !! Sad
    – the imbalance of wealth, lack of education and too much free time, leads to crime like this! No morals and broken family structure.

  2. yes fi real show same concern but when dem kil out the biz people a chiney a get fi him place, and us Jamaicans are becoming too numb and too use to the killings that is dangerous, the montego bay the boast of Jamaica all now some a dem n want go Kingston for we a murdera…. dem shame like dawg.. but the bwoy dem travel back and forth freely, its one in 4 smaddy that know someone that was murdered. then comes the stress from Jamaica fi nine night money a weh people fi get food fi at least 3 months a walk and nyam people who love when people passed away, and trust me if dem no get food fi nyam dem vex

  3. Rip Sir Chue and I endorse the above sentiments but why such ppl must be outraged abt the common man when the fellow common man not outraged and sit in silence most times talking bout dem a nuh informer and a so the thing set? When will the common man stand up for the common man instead of waiting on the upper echelons to respond? Nuff innocent ppl get killed inna broad daylight infront of nuff black common man n mi naah hear them outrage and more importantly them info. U will hear the hush tones etc and the “bwoy it sad” but thats the difference the upper echelons will be willing and ready to go court. Nuh bother talk bout them a get protection n that bcuz if a fi some fool fool argument we ready fi dead fi defend our ego but not truth and justice. Yet our very forefathers did that to carry us here. That is the biggest problem here now, the average man will not stand to defend what is right out of fear of dying. Sadly they fail to realize they are only allowing the monster to gain strength to not only still kill them but their friends and family too.

Wake up Jamaicans too many of us are eating out of crime and it is backfiring and we rather die than let go or fight. But let our egos be soiled we fight anyone anywhere. Someone was “kind” enuff to send those guns from “foreign” to cause mayhem. Double drum magazines that hold 100 rounds thus turning the ar into a light machine gun.

Gov can spend the last dollar pon equipment n training for cops but if the people dont help and I dont mean the march n sing and voicing condemnation. We been doing that fi decades and the problem only spiralling out a control.
