MAN CHARGED WITH DEXTER POTTINGER’S MURDER PLEADS GUILTY

The man charged in relation with the killing of fashion designer Dexter Pottinger today pleaded guilty when he appeared in the Home Circuit Court.

Romario Brown is charged with manslaughter, larceny from a dwelling and simple larceny.

The court was told that Brown, who is being represented by attorney-at-law Donald Bryan, stole Pottinger’s Honda CRV motor vehicle as well as a television and a watch from his house.

Pottinger’s decomposing body was found at his Yarico Place residence in St Andrew on August 31, 2017.

The body had multiple stab wounds.

Following an investigation by the police, he was arrested and later charged.

It was revealed that Brown was out on bail for the killing of a woman in St Andrew in 2016.
