Investigators are searching for clues as they probe the killing of an 88 year old woman in Runaway Bay, St. Ann.
The body of Nettie Rowe was found at her house shortly before midday.
It is suspected that Ms Rowe, who reportedly lived alone, was s*xually assaulted.
The police say her body had stab wounds to the chest.
The house was ransacked and there was no sign of forced entry.
