  1. Sender, what is your condition? Here in the U.K. The doctor will only recommend that a woman’s ovaries should only be removed if there’s a significant risk of associated disease, such as ovarian cancer.

If you have a family history of ovarian or breast cancer, removing your ovaries may be recommended to prevent you getting cancer in the future. However, they RARELY suggest removal of ovaries for less serious issues. Please please do not trust these Jamaican doctors. At 19 years old, they should not be advising any female to get pregnant so they can then steralise you!

Removal of ovaries can actually make your health worse. It is the ovaries that produce female hormones that can help protect against health problems such as weak bones. They also play a part in feelings of sexual desire and pleasure as well as of course, pregnancy.

Sender please come back and tell us what your diagnosis is? You really need to seek a second opinion too.

Met, I beg u email the girl with this comment before these doctors unnecessarily butcher her for life.

I cannot express how extreme ovarian removal is and I’m genuinely concerned for this young girl!

  2. Sigh, hush baby girl. Change ur diet n start exeercise. U will be amazed at what those 2 can do. All the best, don’t get depressed, have faith. The Lord don’t give u more than u can manage. Also don’t rush having a child, a child is very expensive n take time.
