The suspect in the killing of a Police Woman, who was beaten allegedly by inmates, remains in hospital in critical condition. Reports from IDECOM are that the suspect is on life support.
The independent commission of investigations, INDECOM, says the probe into the circumstances is still ongoing, nine police and all prisoners in Cell 8 have been interviewed.
A source at INDECOM says that the circumstances surrounding the beating of the suspect, remains unclear, however the probe is still on going.
Constable Thomas was killed while a passenger on a bus along Spanish Town Road on her way home on July 14.
