TEENS BODY FOUND AT 8 MILES

Detectives assigned to the Kingston East Police are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a teenager whose body was found at a beach in 8 Miles, Bull Bay, St. Andrew.

Reports from the Bull Bay Police are that about 1:40 p.m. on Sunday, 14 year old Wayneoro Russeo, who is from Tivoli Gardens, went to the Brooks Pen Beach to swim.

It is alleged that he went into the water with his friends when he got into difficulties and drowned.

The Police and Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) divers were alerted. A search was carried out and his body was removed from the water about 7 o’clock Monday morning.

Investigators are awaiting the results of a post mortem.

  1. Sincerest condolences to his loved ones.Drowning is strangely/peculiarly traumatic because it is a way of dying that always boggles the mind due to it being avoidable.

    Even if you are a decent swimmer, u never quite know when you going to get into difficulty so it’s always a risk u taking.

    1. He drowned and 8 miles is where his body was found. They can predict where it may end up base on current and wind.
