MOCA MOVES IN ON FLA

For the third time this week a team from the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) returned to the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) today.

It is reported that more computers have been seized.

Reports have surfaced that operations at the FLA’s head office were scaled down on Friday.

Last month, then Chairman of the FLA Dennis Wright asked MOCA to open an investigation into innuendos made against Dennis Meadows, the agency’s deputy chairman, regarding operations at the FLA.

Mr. Wright also said he asked MOCA to investigate any approval of firearm licences which may be considered suspicious prior to 2016.
