Police and special investigators have charged a third suspect in connection with last month’s murder of St. Andrew businesswoman, Simone Collymore and her driver, Winston Walters in Forrest Hills, St. Andrew.
He is Dwight Pink.
Mr. Pink has been charged along with Mrs Collymore’s husband, Omar Collymore and Michael Adams with murder and conspiracy to murder.
Mr. Collymore and Mr. Adams appeared before the Gun Court section of the St. Andrew Parish Court on Friday afternoon and were remanded.
Both men, who are unrepresented, were given until February 26 to hire an attorney.
Mr. Pink was not taken to court on Friday as he is to face an identification parade for shooting.
Mrs Collymore and Mr. Walters were fatally shot on January 2, when gunmen on motorbikes, sprayed bullets on the vehicle in which they were travelling.
Mr. Collymore, who is accused of plotting the murder of his wife, was captured at a guest house in St. Elizabeth on February 7 during an early morning police operation.
On January 27, the day of his wife’s funeral, he was taken off a plane at the Norman Manley International Airport by CIB investigators.
I’m happy these lawyers realize than any payment they accept for the trial is blood money. They don’t need that retribution further down the line!
Whose blood? The lawyers will not meet any retribution because they have tried cases worst than this,to even suggest that is wrong. Its the complexity of the case why no one wants to be bothered, but one will have to represent him…by force.
Lawyers have no conscience when it comes to accepting payment. They don’t care about the victims, only money. Why do you think many have been accused of fraud or stealing the clients funds relating to real estate transaction in Jamaica. In fact, money might be the issue why Collymore hasn’t retain an attorney as of yet.

A decade ago, Omar Best Collymore’s girlfriend was shot dead in a Fort Lauderdale street. Her killer was never charged, but police always considered Collymore someone of interest.
Now his wife is dead. He was charged with murder after she was gunned down outside her apartment complex in Jamaica, and Fort Lauderdale detectives are working with Jamaican authorities in hopes of solving their own long-cold case.
