OMAR COLLYMORE REMANDED AGAIN +

**I guess money was found for a lawyer but the home Simone and Omar shared in Florida has now gone into foreclosure. The mother-in-law went into the house and took out what she wanted earlier this year but the mortgage has not been paid since Simone’s death**

OMAR “Best” Collymore, the man accused of orchestrating the alleged contract killing of his wife, has secured the services of veteran defence attorney Diane Jobson.

However, on Friday when he appeared in the Gun Court section of the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court, he was further remanded and a new mention date scheduled for July 25.

Jobson, when contacted to provide further details about her client’s appearance in court, declined to comment.

Michael Adams and Dewayne Pink, who are jointly charged in the matter, were also remanded and will return to court on the same date.

Collymore, Adams and Pink are charged with two counts of murder in relation to the killing of 32-year-old Simone Campbell-Collymore and 36-year-old taxi operator Winston Watson on Stanley Terrace in Red Hills, St Andrew, on January 2 this year.

Collymore was captured at a guest house in St Elizabeth during an operation on February 8, two days after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Fourth Suspect Arrested In Connection With Murder Of Businesswoman, Taxi Driver

    Published:Friday | June 22, 2018 | 4:01 PM

The police have arrested a fourth suspect in connection with the murder of businesswoman Simone Campbell-Collymore and taxi driver Winston Walters in January.

The Constabulary Communication Unit (CCU) confirmed that the suspect was arrested by the Constant Spring Police.

He is believed to have been the trigger man during the incident.

“A fourth man is in custody for the homicide but he has not been charged so details cannot be given yet,” said a CCU representative a short while ago.

Campbell-Collymore was travelling in a taxi on January 2 in Red Hills, St Andrew when gunmen opened fire on the vehicle, hitting her and Walters.

Both were pronounced dead at hospital.

Campbell-Collymore’s widower Omar, Dewayne Pink and Michael Adams, were subsequently charged with the double homicide.
