Body of St. Catherine woman found in shallow grave in St. Thomas

A St. Catherine woman who was reported missing on Monday was found buried in a shallow grave in St. Thomas Tuesday after her boyfriend reportedly confessed to killing her.

She has been identified as 36-year old Latisha Bravo, also known as Keisha, a store keeper of Linstead in St. Catherine.

According to a police report, Ms Bravo visited her boyfriend in Duhaney Pen, St. Thomas on Sunday.

The following morning they reportedly had a dispute during which it is believed that she was strangled to death.

It is reported that he then hid the body under a bed and went to work.

About 8 o’clock Monday evening he allegedly took the body to the seaside in Duhaney Pen and buried it.

Later in the night the St. Thomas Police received information that Miss Bravo had been reported missing.

Her boyfriend was taken into custody where he allegedly confessed to the killing.

The police say he them to the shallow grave.

    Disturbing.
    It seems the killings have become so use as a part of every day life, that no one longer cares or respond. Action must be taken. Domestic violence is taking lives all over the world, especially in the Caribbean.
