TESHA MILLER DENIES KNOWING ABOUT JUTC BOSS KILLING

Accused gang leader Tesha Miller on Thursday morning denied ordering the 2008 murder of Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) Managing Director, Douglas Chambers.

Miller also denied knowing about the plot to kill Mr. Chambers.

In a brief unsworn statement before the Home Circuit Court, Miller challenged the testimony of the chief prosecution witness that he ordered the contract killing of JUTC boss.

Miller told the seven member jury that he is a welder.

He said the first time he saw the chief prosecution witness was when he appeared in court to give testimony against him.

Prosecutors are making closing arguments at the trial.
