TEEN KILLED OVER WATER

Portland recorded its tenth murder on Thursday when 17 year-old Miguel Osbourne, of Forty Acres, Orange Bay in the parish, was stabbed to death by a man.

Reports are that about 4:30 p.m., Miguel and the man had a dispute over water.

The man allegedly used a knife to stab the teenager in his chest.

The teen died while being treated at Annotto Bay Hospital.

His attacker was taken into custody.

With this latest attack, Portland has surpassed the nine cases of homicide recorded in the parish in 2017.
