POMPEO REACH JAMAICA

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived in Kingston on Tuesday evening.

The top American diplomat’s plane touched down at Norman Manley International Airport shortly after 6 o’clock.

He was met by Foreign Minister Kamina Johnson Smith, Opposition Spokesperson on Foreign Affairs Lisa Hanna, US Ambassador to Jamaica Donald Tapia and other dignitaries.

On Wednesday morning, he will meet Prime Minister Andrew Holness and hold a press conference at Jamaica House.

Secretary Pompeo will also hold discussions with Caribbean foreign ministers on Wednesday.

CARICOM Chairman, Barbados Prime Mnister Mia Mottley, revealed on the weekend that her foreign minister will not attend these talks.

Trinidad and Tobago as well as Antigua and Barbuda have come out in support of the Barbadian position.

  1. …………need CARICOM’s validation in the form of support for the destabilization or further destabilization plan for Venezuela! any opposition will more than likely be sanctions in the form of visa restrictions, aid, business restrictions, the threat of more guns flooding JA :ngakak etc. especially with “orangeade” at the helm? even the blind can clearly see by now how vindictive he can be! “pug-nose” will be walking a very tight rope ahead! even more interesting is where/when China will come into play :travel very interesting times ahead!

  2. PM went to America; then he went to China; now Pompeo visits Jamaica.. Pompeo is mixed up in the reason Trump is being impeached. Allegedly, they the US, wanted a foreign country , Ukerane to make false statement that they would be investigating Joe Biden. Money that had already been approved to them by Congress was witheld . If Ukerane had made the statement, it would have helped trump in his reelection bid. Election corruption ?!!!…
    PM, you better be careful.
