MAN AND WOMAN FOUND SHOT IN SUV

A man and a woman were found shot dead inside of an SUV in Brooklyn Friday, according to police.

Police say they responded to a 911 call of two people shot near 865 Cleveland St. around 4:45 a.m.

Once on scene, investigators discovered a 27-year-old Devon Hannibal in the driver’s seat of a red colored Dodge Durango and a 23-year-old Christina Stubbs in the passenger side seat. They were shot multiple times and both pronounced dead at the scene.

Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce says the two victims were approached by a man who pulled out a gun and began firing shots into the windows of the vehicle. The suspect then fled the scene.

Both victims were at a club called Linden Hall prior to the shooting.

“We spoke to one of the security agents there. He says there was no problems prior to that. Very broad street, there’s a lot of cameras here. We’ll know more as the morning pushes forward,” says Boyce.

Police believe the driver was the target of the shooting.

Boyce says it appears the weapon used was a 9mm handgun.

Police are still searching for the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime
