Met, hypothetically speaking….what if I told you that every single thing this sender wrote is 100% facts, you would a believe me? What if U told you also that each time the government change those at the head of the corruption just move round. Some senior persons in the agency “try” and stay mutual while others outright picked them side for promotions. Jamaica Customs is one of the most corrupt government agencies trust me I’ve been there, lived it and thank God escaped it. Met I can go on for days about it, the DW era was eye opening to see the least.
As a young country girl getting into government I was soo exicited and hungry for the status, but some things you see and can’t unsee. I remember someone posted about how guns and other contraband come into the island and i had made a mental note to break it down to you guys but me just never get oround to it. Met, it is soo f***g easy to do some things it’s like a cake walk to ra**. Now I am not telling you that I never benefited because that would be a lie, I was able to afford things and do things I would otherwise not being able to.
When you are in the position it is hard to say no to something being offered to you, the person offering is working with the supervisors, the officer and everyone else so it’s a test to see if you are a whistle blower so you just take it and gwane wid di road. No get me started on the battyman supervisors and managers, no get me started on who a exchange sexual favors for positions and promotions.
Tell me they sacked you. You have just written a wholeheap of nothing. You have not divulged or explained any specific scams that goes on at customs.
