The alleged leader of a Hanover-based gang was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Friday.

He is 27 year old Adrian Clarke, otherwise called “Turbo”, the so-called leader of the “Hundred Rounds Gang. He was sentenced before the Western Regional Gun Court.

Clarke was convicted last week for a 2016 shooting in Hanover in which one person was injured. He was sentenced for shooting with intent and illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

The police say the Hundred Rounds Gang has been terrorising sections of Green Island for the last few years.

The gang is one of four operating in Hanover.

Earlier this year, Clarke was ambushed and shot by rival gang members while leaving the Green Island Courthouse.
