Gunmen shoot up Denham Town police station
A probe is in progress after gunmen fired on the Denham Town Police Station on Tuesday morning.
The police suspect gunmen from Tivoli Gardens were involved.
The police say about 12:40, rival gangs from Denham Town and Tivoli Gardens were firing at each.
Police say they saw several men from Tivoli Gardens advancing in the direction of the station.
The police intervened to prevent the gun battle from escalating.
At that point, the gunmen started firing on the station.
After the shooting subsided, the police discovered that a bullet had shattered a glass window to the station’s general office.
Again? It’s an annual activity for the gummen?
