FAKE DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED TO SPANISH EMBASSY

Two Jamaican men were on Friday arrested at the Spanish Embassy in Kingston on reasonable suspicion of uttering forged documents and forgery.

The two men reportedly visited the embassy about 10:00 am and submitted applications and documents for visas. During checks, it was revealed that the documents were forged, the police reported.

Lawmen from the Fraud Squad of the Counter Terrorism and Organised Crime Branch (C-TOC) were summoned and both men arrested. The men are scheduled to be questioned in the presence of their attorneys-at-law.

The police did not reveal their identities.
