EX-POLICE RECENTLY DEPORTED TO JAMAICA FOR MURDER DENIED BAIL

Former cop Oshane Thompson was again denied bail when he faced the St. Mary Parish Court on Thursday.

A statement from INDECOM said the parish judge denied bail due to possible witness interference and the accused being a flight risk.

The case is scheduled for Committal Proceedings on October 2.

Mr. Thompson was charged earlier this month with the murder of 31 year-old Kriston Pearson, otherwise called Insta Boss, an entertainer of Islington, St. Mary.

Pearson was shot and killed reportedly during a dispute between the men in May last year.

Mr. Thompson, who later fled the island to the US, was flown to Jamaica two weeks ago.
