Five persons were killed in separate incidents in Clarendon on Tuesday.
The murders took place in Hayes, Rocky Point, York Town and Denbigh.
A seventeen-year-old boy was among those murdered.
It’s reported that, about 8:00 p.m., 39 year-old Orlando Beckford, a taxi operator of Glenmuir Housing Scheme, was shot and killed by gunmen.
Mr Beckford was operating a taxi from Hayes to May Pen when he stopped to let off a passenger in the vicinity of Girls Town, whereupon gunmen approached and shot him. He managed to drive close to the Hayes police where he was assisted to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Fifteen minutes later, a barber was shot and killed by gunmen in Rocky Point. He has been identified as 33-year-old Fitzroy Paul Joseph, otherwise called Willi, of Cemetery Road in the community.
It’s reported that the victim was at his friend’s house when gunmen kicked open the door and fired several shots hitting him in the upper body.
Meanwhile, a body was found on Allan Street in Denbigh. That person’s identity has not been released.
Also in Denbigh, a teenager was fatally shot by gunmen.
It’s reported that about 1 o’clock in the afternoon, shots were heard and the police were called.
The body of 17 year-old Odane Baker from Rules Pen was found.
In York Town, 40 year-old Franklin Morgan was riding his bicycle when he was shot and killed by a gunman. Residents heard gun shots and alerted the police.
When the police arrived, Mr Morgan’s body was found on the side of the road.
Last year, Clarendon recorded 167 murders.
This was the second highest among the parishes and police divisions, after St James which recorded 335 murders.

Morning Met! Not sure if you had ran this story sometime ago, do you remember that police man who had killed another police man at a dance on Waltham in an attempt gun salute? I think he was a no good cop and was killed maybe a month or two ago. I heard they also killed his women yesterday her name is Zoey she was shot seven times. I’ve known her for years, she was a rebel at heart and always running with bad people….does anyone have any details on this

Just got some more info today the corrupt cop was 35 year old Courtney Linton, killed less than 2 months ago in Jericho, St Catherine she shocker was Zoey was nine month pregnant….Sad!!
