No Lisa, no Bunting’, comrades chant at NEC meeting

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – Chants of “no Lisa, no Bunting” rang out at the People’s National Party (PNP) National Executive Council meeting in St Catherine Sunday, where Opposition Leader Portia Simpson Miller reportedly announced that she will not be seeking re-election as party president next September.

“Lisa have the heart of a Labourite and a wear PNP clothes,” one woman who was among the group chanting outside Cedar Grove Academy in Portmore, said.

Another alleged that Lisa Hanna, the member of Parliament for St Ann South East, does not support Simpson Miller and that she is supported by Peter Bunting.

The angry group was supported by delegates, purportedly from Lisa Hanna’s constituency, who were equally disgruntled and blamed her for the recent division losses in the local government elections.

LISA DASHING DUTTY WATER

“Lisa create history a South East St Ann; she mek Labourite a rule Moneague and Labourite never win deh in 30 to 40 years now,” said one delegate.

Meanwhile, Simpson Miller, while addressing party members at the meeting Sunday reportedly said she would not be seeking re-electing as party president but would remain to help rebuild the PNP.

  1. Is this yet another dumb selfie from this clown? It’s all she seems to be capable of.

When can Jamayka get some real intellectuals and people of honest character to take the country forward? All we seem to have are crooks and those looking for personal benefit from their position.

I suggest we pay the politicians nothing and see who still wants the job.

  2. Both are narcissistic, one is simply better educated. Self serving people will be no good for our country, and you’d best believe BOTH are selfish people with greed and power on their mind.

  3. Bunting, Lisa, Phillips, Paulwell etc….none of dem caan get it and dem know it….dem own ppl inna dem party along with the comrades don’t like nor trust dem!

Up to last week I woulda seh Julian, he seemed like an ideal candidate, but he doesn’t have what it takes to lead, he breaks under pressure….even as the soon to be general secretary from di interviews he’s been in he gets flustered and aggressive at questions like why the party lost or what’s next etc….if him getting turned around by that, him not going to be able to handle di big post!

And the party looking to go in a whole new direction, a nuff space di PNP a go have, cause nuff a di older ones know point blank di younger ones jus did a wait fi see if dem can get out Portia, dem kno dem a come fi dem next. Whoever going lead need to be the full package
