A soon-to-be mother and her boyfriend were shot and killed in the 2100 block of Westchester Circle ,in Memphis Tennessee, over hair, according to his family.An 18-year-old has been arrested and charged in a triple murder .Police said E.J. Tate and Edwina Thomas were sitting in their car in the 2100 block of Westchester Circle when a woman approached the vehicle and opened fire.
The couple was killed. Thomas was six to eight weeks pregnant at the time of the shooting, so police classified the crime as a triple homicide.
Shelby Isaac, 18, has been charged in the case.
An arrest warrant was issued for Isaac on three counts of first degree murder on Friday. Hours later, she was booked in to the Shelby County Jail.
18-year-old Victoria Seay was previously arrested in connection with the shooting. Seay is charged with being an accessory to murder
While police have not released a motive for the killing of EJ Tate, his girlfriend and their unborn child, family and friends of Tate said it may have been over Brazilian hair.
Many questions still surround what happened in the parking lot on Friday where the couple died.
