Wait for Your Freedom

But we who live by the Spirit eagerly wait to receive everything promised to us who are right with God through faith Galatians 5:5

In today’s world, everything happens in a rush! Innovations in science and technology endeavor to make things happen faster and easier with less effort. People want to live their lives instantaneously; instant coffee, instant noodles, instant messages! Cars are engineered to drive faster with less effort. Airplanes are expected to fly faster. Man aspires to go through life’s journey at the speed of light. Thus, many people cannot tolerate any form of waiting or delay; they find ways to beat the delay and race on.

And even in the church today, people have adopted the same mentality. They want God to move at their self-imposed pace. They want everything even their deliverance from bondages that years of reckless living brought on them to happen instantly; but
God expects us to wait on Him.

You must wait for the rain of the Spirit to water your seeds so that it will germinate, grow and manifest in your life. Just as the farmer waits for rain to water his seed to germinate and grow to produce a harvest, you must also wait for the rain of the Spirit to water your seeds.

Liberation thought: Those who wait for God will never be put to shame.
