NOW-GOOD MORNING

Now…

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day; the night cometh when no man can work” (John 9:4)
Over the years, I have come to love people that are zealous for the work of God especially people that understand and move by divine timing. Working with a sense of time means operating a NOW principle. When God gives you an assignment to do, the realization of the non renewable nature of time should compel you to speedily perform the task. On earth, certain things are urgent and as a result, must be attended to immediately. Among such things are kingdom tasks. While on earth, the Lord Jesus never wasted any time while attending to His Father’s business; hence the above scripture.

You can hear the sense of urgency in His voice. That fasting and praying must be done now; Souls must be saved now; that long-expected miracle must take place now; just like the way things happen in Heaven. The Heavens operate with a NOW philosophy. You do not have a tomorrow appointment.

1 Samuel 21:8 says, “the king’s business was urgent”…, how much more that of the King of kings.

“For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted and
in the day of salvation have I succoured thee; behold,
NOW is the accepted time; behold, NOW is the day of salvation”
(2 Corinthians 6:2)

Everything has its appointed time and season (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Anything done outside its season may be devoid of its supposed dividends. Giving or operating at your own time instead of God’s right time, may rubbish your efforts completely and absolutely. Whatever you have to do for God, do it now.

That soul you failed to win to Christ may be called home to face eternity the next moment. If God ask you to meet the need of certain individuals but you choose to meet the need later, somebody else can be brought to meet that need and you lose out. Even if the need might not been met, it might have lost his potency. So, if you can serve the Lord now, do it. If you want to give to God’s work, let it be now. If there is a soul to be won, preach to that fellow now. As much as possible, let time serve you and not the other way round. Never move to the next day whatever you can do for the Lord now.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, I thank you for my Now faith

I cancel every arrow of procrastination and delay in my life in the name of Jesus

My faith is working for me Now in the name of Jesus

LIBERATION THOUGHT: Now is my season… My time to shine
