No More Pity-parties
Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!” The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting a gift. But Peter said, “I don’t have any money for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!” (Acts 3:4-6)
People love to throw pity-parties where people will sympathise with them and philosophize on the troubles that are in their lives. A pity party is an attitude that loves to sorrow over life’s challenges in a manner that attracts human consolation and counsel. God hates pity-parties. The Gospel is called the good news because God has no tolerance for bad news. That is why He gives His people beauty for ashes and the oil of joy for mourning.
A merry heart does good to the body like medicine but a broken spirit dries up the bones. A broken spirit is like death because according to Ezekiel 37, dry bones are dead bones and because God couldn’t stand seeing the valley of dry bones, He brought His prophet to prophesy flesh and call in the wind of life to make them a great army.
Peter and John refused to be guests at the lame man’s pity-party at the gates of the synagogue by not giving him the alms and sympathetic looks other visitors to the temple gave him. I am a minister of liberation and divine prosperity; I do not attend pity-parties! That is why I am commanding every one throwing a pity party because of the yokes and afflictions of darkness to shut down the party and leap into their deliverance and divine abundance in the mighty name of Jesus!
Liberation thought: The joy of the Lord is my strength.

I reject every negative thoughts that the enemy uses to establish sorrow and mourning in my life, in the name of Jesus!
I pull down, uproot and destroy every stronghold of affliction in my life, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, thank you because you have turned around every negative situation in my life for good, in the name of Jesus
