EVEN THE DEAD HEAR THE MASTER’S VOICE
who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, 2Timothy 1:9 – 10
Our lives are not over when we die, there is life after death. The good news is that Christ broke the power of death and illuminated the way of life and immortality through the good news. That is why whenever He received news of someone’s death during His ministry here on earth, He simply said the person was asleep and He went over to wake them up from sleep. Time and again He demonstrated that death had lost its victory and the grave denied by restoring life to the dead. And even when the dead was already buried like Lazarus was, he commanded the stone to be rolled away and called the dead man to life by his name. The dead heard His voice and lived again.
Rejoice over that dead situation in your life because it will hear the voice of Jesus and live! It doesn’t matter how long the situation has been and how many places you have gone in search of help to no avail. I speak to that situation right now as Christ’s representative here in this physical realm, receive life! I command your marriage to come alive! I command your business to come alive! I command your body to come alive! For that same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, giving life to your mortal body. Come alive, in the mighty name of Jesus!
Liberation thought: I am crucified with Christ but I live…the life i now live in the flesh is by the faith of the son of God who loved me and gave his life for me.
