DISOBEDIENCE STANDS BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR BREAKTHROUGH-GOOD MORNING

Disobedience Stands Between You And Your Breakthrough

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Now go out where it is deeper and let down your nets, and you will catch many fish.” “Master,” Simon replied, “we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so, we’ll try again.” And this time their nets were so full they began to tear! A shout for help brought their partners in the other boat, and soon both boats were filled with fish and on the verge of sinking. (Luke 5:4 -7)

Peter was a successful fisher man who even had his own boat. He knew the best time to catch fish and he was comfortable with his business. But the laws of nature suddenly began working against him and the fishes that would normally swim into his net every night refused to swim on that fateful night. He was washing his nets in frustration when the Lord came to him and asked for his boat.

The frustration of an unsuccessful night and business that was suddenly crumbling could have made Peter in his impetuousness to ignore the master. But because he was a man destined for greatness, he immediately gave his boat and that act of obedience activated his journey that earned him the responsibility of taking care of the flock that Jesus will leave behind after His death on the cross.

What is that particular demand that God has made of you? Your decision to give God what He has asked of you is what will make the difference and trigger the out-pouring of His divine abundance into your life this month. Take a critical look at your walk with God; correct any known area of disobedience in your life. You must understand that when God wants to bless you, He would place a demand on you. Don’t be afraid to obey Him because your obedience is what will activate your breakthrough.
